How it works

Interior design

It all begins with a phone call or an email to discuss your project and arrange for a site visit. Jennifer will ask lots of questions and from there she’ll propose a plan of attack that suits your needs, style, timing, and budget.

Each project is unique and so is each client relationship. Some clients need help navigating a complicated construction project, while others need just a few hours of consultation on a smaller [project, change to] renovation. Paint plans and color recommendations are popular services for clients undertaking residential or commercial painting.

As work begins, your progress will be documented in a report so that you always have a current record of the recommendations and their resources. Three-dimensional drawings are included to help you visualize the end result. This report will also provide information that can be used by your contractor, painter, and craftsmen.

Color consultation

In general, color consulting takes two visits. The first visit is to get to know your style and to determine your goals. During the second visit, color solutions are proposed and fine-tuned. At the end of the process you will have a report complete with paint chips and everything your painter or contractor will need. Sometimes subsequent visits are scheduled to review work in progress or to address last-minute concerns. For each project, there can be ten different color solutions that all “work”; the exciting part is creating the one that works for you!
